Ingredients:

  • 1 kilogram of small onions
  • Sufficient water to fill the jar
  • Coarse salt and vinegar

For the Brine:

  • For every cup of water: 1 tablespoon of coarse salt, 1 teaspoon of sugar, and 1 teaspoon of vinegar
  • 2 hot peppers (optional)
  • 5 large garlic cloves
